Description

Looking for a great desk piece, conversation piece, or teaching piece? This is it! This Process Column comes 90% assembled and is approximately 14.5" tall and 4" in diameter at the skirt's base.

This model features the following:

  • The Top Head has an integrated Nozzle with a split repad with a weep hole on both sides.
  • The Top Shell Course has three nozzles, one of which has a distributor pipe inserted through it. It has two types of trays with built-in weirs and downcomers; one is a hole-type tray and the other is a sieve-type tray. The shell has a cutout so the components can be easily seen.
  • The Bottom Shell Course has three nozzles, one of which has a stab-in type steam heater inserted through it. It has two types of trays with built-in weirs and downcomers; one is a valve-type tray and the other is a bubble cap-type tray (the caps can actually move up and down). The bottom shell also has a cutout so the components can be easily seen.
  • The Bottom Head has a pad flange and has piping (an elbow, a weld, a pipe, and a flange) installed that reaches outside the skirt for an easy bolt-up connection.
  • The Skirt has a cutout so the bottom head, pad flange, and piping configuration can be easily seen. It has M3x12 anchor bolts and a ground lug attached as well. The unit is press-fit design so it can be removed and reinstalled into the skirt easily. It also has a Data Plate that can be customized with your logo or information for an additional cost.
  • The top head, the shells, and the bottom head all rotate so it be easily shown in any direction.
  • Other than the top head nozzle, all of the other connections are press-fit design so they can be easily removed and reinstalled for teaching applications.

NOTES:

These are 3d printed products. 3d printed parts often have inconsistent surface finishes that include irregular surface patterns, small bumps, zits, and blobs, jagged lines, rough corners, and stringing ("spider webs"). While we do our best to minimize and even eliminate most of these issues, they are normal and should be considered when purchasing 3d printed products and parts.

Really nice work. Great attention to detail.

I've bought several pieces from this seller. Each item has been a masterpiece. A lot of attention to the small details. I'm always excited to see what he's going to build next.
